Office of Safety and Preparedness

The safety of our students and staff are a top priority. 

The Office of Safety and Preparedness is responsible for the design, development and implementation of a district wide and school safety and climate program.   This office handles school safety matters and works to ensure that each of our schools are:
  • positive and culturally responsive
  • safe and violent-free
  • compliant with a patterned and practiced response to critical incidents

The Office of Safety and Preparedness coordinates school and district safety plans and protocols as well as develops and implements prevention strategies in an effort to minimize the likelihood of school violence, bullying and harassment.
