Since the proposed work at each school is under the maximum cost allowance (MCA), the district will be eligible to receive maximum state building aid. The aid, along with EXCEL funding (grant provided to use for projects) and $2 million in Capital Reserves will cover the cost of Phase II work and, therefore, will not have an impact on taxpayers.
The Board of Education is Expected to adopt a Phase II Plan at the March 29 Board of Education Meeting.
