Urban School Conference- Featuring Dr. Chris Emdin

The conference will provide teachers and administrators the tools to address the unique issues facing urban educators today. It will focus on programs, initiatives/and or practices designed to eliminate race, economics and disabilities as predictors of student achievement. Sessions will have a focus on improving achievement and closing gaps, professional development, leadership and governance, bilingual, and special education programming. All sessions will be aligned and related to making a difference in improving academic achievement for traditionally underserved students. Dr. Chris Emdin will be delivering the keynote. Featured speakers include Dr. Richard Milner, Dr. Allison Sampson-Jackson, Hall Davidson, Bryon Garrett and Stacy Kaczmarek.
